Bestia delivers an unforgettable Italian dining experience in an industrial-chic setting. Our meal was a masterclass in execution and flavor, beginning with the stunning Scallops Crudo, which was impeccably fresh and bright, paired perfectly with the savory, tangy Marinated Olives. The pasta course was the true highlight: the dramatic Ink Squid Spaghetti with Lobster offered intense seafood depth, while the Cream Sauce Pasta with Truffle was pure, aromatic indulgence, generously shaved with fresh black truffle. For the main event, the Lamb Neck was a triumph of slow cooking- fall-off-the-bone tender with a robust, charred crust. Every dish demonstrated a commitment to high-quality ingredients and flawless technique. Bestia remains essential dining for a truly exceptional meal in Los Angeles.

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my graduation. The Food was fantastic and very very delicious, our waiter nicknamed "El Maestro," gave us excellent service and made us feel very welcome. We had Fried Calamari and Raw Scallops for appetizer, Mussles, Lobster Pasta and Mushrooms Pizza, I loved everything. The Pizza bread was very soft and tasty. The chocolate pie dessert was nice too as the Bannana Split. The atmosphere was a little to much noisy, but nothing disgusting. I recommend making a reservation.

Visited this wonderful gem of a restaurant pre-covid and it was a wonderful experience, had my worries when I decided to give it another try, but must admit, the place kept the same level of quality food, alcohol and atmosphere. I had a great time on the bar, the octopus was no less than amazing and the fish... Made me want to go fishing! Wonderful place in the most strange location, will definitely come back again!

Bastia in Los Angeles is an absolute standout and easily one of the best Italian dining experiences we’ve had. We called the same day on a whim and were thrilled to score seats at the chef’s counter, front row to the wood-fired pizza oven, the magic happening in the kitchen, and the chefs in action while dining, which added an unforgettable layer to the evening. Our server was exceptional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and full of great recommendations. We started with the Charred Spanish Octopus, which was perfectly tender and beautifully smoky. The Herb Caesar salad was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced, but the real star of the night was the Grilled Branzino, absolutely DIVINE. Light, flaky, and full of flavor, it was cooked to perfection. Sitting so close to the pizza ovens made it impossible to resist ordering a pizza, so we went with the ’Nduja, bold, perfectly spicy, and so satisfying that we happily boxed half to enjoy later. No regrets. The setting itself is stylish and artsy, tucked into a cool warehouse-like space in a vibrant neighborhood. Valet parking is available for $13, which is a bonus in LA and makes the experience even easier. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, Bastia exceeded every expectation. This is now one of our go-to Italian spots in LA, and we will absolutely be back every time we’re in town.

The food was really good. Like, how does one make salad taste this good? But the service was mid, and there were only two toilet stalls for a restaurant this expensive and crowded. Music was also a tad bit loud for my liking. If you sit outdoors it’s easier to talk, but I frankly do not have any idea how people seated indoors hear one another. Would recommend a visit if you’re in LA as the food is excellent. but expect to pay good money for this. There’s free street parking if you arrive early, otherwise there is valet as well.

What an amazing meal! Spectacular food, impeccable service!! It's very trendy and loud so a word to us old folks - request a table on the outside front patio. We were seated on the terrace and our party had to yell to be heard. But aside from the din, our meal was exceptional!! While everything was fabulous, we all agreed the Corn Agnolotti was stand-out sublime (4th photo) Don't miss it!!

One of my favorite L.A. spots. The bone marrow spinach gnocchetti is out of this world. I've never had a bad meal here. I always get my own bone marrow, no sharing that one. The mushroom and Guanciale pizza is insane!

Bestia continues to live up to the hype. Every dish we ordered was excellent and packed with flavor. It’s one of those places where there really wasn’t a weak item on the table. The atmosphere is amazing—energetic, lively, and perfect for a night out. The service was top notch from start to finish. Everyone on the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire meal. This is a great restaurant to visit with a small group so you can share multiple dishes and experience more of the menu. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, it’s easy to see why Bestia remains one of the standout dining spots in Downtown LA. I’d happily come back again

Bestia is a must-visit every time I’m in Los Angeles. It’s one of my favorite Italian restaurants, and the quality has been consistently outstanding on every visit. The food is always creative, flavorful, and beautifully executed. Their wood-fired pizzas are incredibly thin and perfectly crisp. My favorite dish is the bone marrow appetizer—it’s something I order almost every time. They also have a strong wine list, which is great if you enjoy pairing wine with your meal. One thing I appreciate is that when ordering wine by the glass, the sommelier is willing to bring one or two samples for guests to taste before deciding. However, I wish there had been a little more explanation behind the recommendations. Since we were ordering glass by glass and pairing wines with different dishes, it would have been helpful to hear why those specific wines were suggested and how they would complement the food we ordered. For guests like me who enjoy learning about food and wine pairing but are not wine professionals, that extra guidance would make the experience even better. The pacing of the food service can be a little slow at times, but it’s still acceptable and doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, Bestia continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in LA, and I highly recommend it. Be sure to make reservations well in advance—about two weeks ahead for a small group, and at least three weeks ahead for larger parties if you’re hoping to dine during prime dinner hours around 6:00–7:00 PM.
